As you walk through the entrance of the Home, our “Tree of Remembrance” is the first thing you will notice.
The six-foot tree donated by the E.J. Kavanagh Foundation is adorned with hundreds of brass leaves. Foundation stones surround the bronze trunk of the tree. These leaves or stones may be engraved in memory of or in honor of persons chosen by the donor. A tree symbolizes renewal and regrowth. We have chosen a tree of remembrance to exemplify that we are connected in love and service to those who have gone before us and those who are with us.
The Saint John XXIII Home Family does not wish to forget the spirit of our founders nor do we want to forget those who have been our benefactors through the years. Donations collected will be utilized for capital improvements of the Home which will directly benefit our residents.
